Farmers March to Mumbai – Reactions on Social Media
Some 30 thousands farmers are marching towards Mumbai and have been protesting in Azad Maidan. This march has created a buzz in social media.
Since they all are carrying Communist Party flags, there have been questions on political intentions of the entire protest. However, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said in Assembly that his government was very sensitive and positive towards the demands of farmers.
Kerala CM has clearly said that it is CPM-led ‘long march’ of farmers in his tweet:

CPM leader Sitaram Yechuri has further spell the agenda:
These protests are about lives and livelihood of farmers, which have a resonance and impact that goes beyond Maharashtra. When ₹ 2.4 lakh crore of corporate bank loans can be written off (April 2014 to September 2017), why is there no money to help the farmers? #KisanLongMarch pic.twitter.com/vHQvIeiN9N

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has express his support for this Kisan March to Mumbai:
The mammoth #FarmersMarchToMumbai is a stunning example of people’s power. The Congress party stands with the Farmers & Tribals marching to protest against the Central & State Govts. apathy.
I appeal to PM Modi and the CM to not stand on ego and to accept their just demands.

Wonder who’s actually financing this farmers’ march …with their flags, caps, enroute food &water for 30000, the medical care , the massive organizational arrangements et al..? Voluntary contributions? That’s a laugh. Any guesses?— ashok (@ashokpurandare) March 11, 2018
